The Divine Form of Goddess Lakshmi

Tulsi, known as Holy Basil (Ocimum tenuiflorum), is considered the most sacred plant in Hinduism. According to ancient scriptures, Tulsi is the earthly manifestation of Goddess Lakshmi, the consort of Lord Vishnu.

The Padma Purana states that Lord Vishnu himself declared: "Tulsi is dearer to me than all other plants and flowers. Those who wear Tulsi beads are always protected and blessed."

In Vaishnavism, Tulsi worship is an essential part of daily devotion. Every Hindu household traditionally keeps a Tulsi plant, which is worshipped each morning and evening.

Spiritual Benefits of Wearing Tulsi

Wearing Tulsi malas and jewelry brings numerous spiritual blessings into your life.

Purification of Aura

Tulsi beads emit subtle vibrations that cleanse the wearer's aura, removing negative energies and impurities accumulated over lifetimes.

Divine Protection

The Garuda Purana states that Tulsi creates an invisible protective shield around the wearer, guarding against evil spirits and negative influences.

Enhanced Meditation

The sacred vibrations of Tulsi calm the mind and enhance concentration, making meditation deeper and more effective

Krishna's Blessings

Lord Krishna is especially pleased by devotees who wear Tulsi. It is said that He directly blesses those adorned with Tulsi beads.

Removes Sins

According to scriptures, wearing Tulsi helps burn away accumulated karmic sins and purifies the soul for spiritual advancement.

Peaceful Death

It is believed that one who wears Tulsi at the time of death is freed from the cycle of birth and death and attains moksha.

Choose an Auspicious Time

The best times to energize your mala are during Brahma Muhurta (4-6 AM), on Ekadashi days, or during any festival dedicated to Lord Vishnu or Krishna.

Purify with Sacred Water

Gently wash your mala with Ganga Jal or pure water mixed with a few drops of raw cow milk. This removes any impurities from handling.

Offer to Your Deity

Place the mala before your home deity or a picture of Lord Krishna/Vishnu. Offer flowers, incense, and a diya (lamp) while chanting prayers.

Chant the Mala Mantra

Hold the mala in your right hand and chant 'Om Tulasyai Namah' 108 times, touching each bead. This infuses divine energy into every bead.

Wear with Devotion

Touch the mala to your forehead, then place it around your neck. From this moment, treat it as sacred and wear it with reverence.
